Science and industry play an important role in providing new knowledge and innovative solutions to overcome our societal, ecological and economic challenges.
CORDIS is the European Commission's main public portal for information on all EU-funded research projects and their results. It contains articles and publications, translated into six languages, about projects funded by the EU’s research programmes, targeting scientists and specialists in a given field, including business and industry, public authorities and specialist media.
The challenge
Creating impactful communication products about EU-funded research, targeting academic and industry specialists alike, with the aim of fostering open science, inspiring the creation of innovative products and services, and stimulating growth across Europe.
The solution
SCOPE has been providing editorial and graphic design/layout services to CORDIS for more than 15 years.
Our science writers draft interview-based articles (Results in Brief) on the results of EU-funded projects with the aim to build a research community that can learn from each other’s triumphs and share results to further research.
Our science writers also write concise and informative project descriptions of research activities that have just started, as well as weekly news articles on the latest of ongoing EU research projects.
A few times a year, we prepare a collection of articles, Results Packs, on a narrow and specific area of research that will be of interest to a specific audience able to encourage uptake of the results.
